Kartikey Kamal is a fourth-year Computer Science & Engineering undergraduate Institute of Technology, expected to graduate in 2026. With a strong foundation in object-oriented Java, Python, and relational database design, he has spent the past two years building applications that are functional, structured, and maintainable.
His internship in Java programming, along with hands-on experience in Python development, strengthened his understanding of how real-world and enterprise-grade systems are built — from JDBC connectivity, CRUD operations, and clean OOP architecture to problem-solving, scripting, and data-driven application development.
Beyond coursework, Kartikey has competed in three national-level hackathons — including events hosted by IIITM Gwalior — where he developed and shipped tech-driven solutions under strict time pressure. These experiences sharpened both his instincts and his ability to collaborate under pressure.
He is equally comfortable on the frontend, having built a fully responsive portfolio website from scratch using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
He attended technical workshops covering Git, GitHub, Artificial Intelligence, and modern development tools — staying current with the industry well beyond what the classroom demands.
Kartikey's work ethic is rooted in a simple belief: software should do exactly what it promises, reliably and clearly. He is currently seeking internship and full-time opportunities where he can contribute, grow, and build things that matter.
A fully functional Java console application implementing complete CRUD operations for managing students, courses, and enrolment records. Built on a normalised relational MySQL database with primary and foreign key constraints. Object-oriented modules for each entity keep the codebase clean and extensible. JDBC handles all database connectivity securely.
A fully responsive and user-centric web platform built to promote home gardening and sustainable living through smart digital assistance. Nurture Paradise helps users discover suitable plants based on their environment, access plantation guidance, manage biodegradable household waste, and get basic plant care support through an interactive and eco-friendly interface. Developed with a focus on accessibility, usability, and clean design, the project aims to make gardening simpler, more practical, and engaging for everyday users.
- Completed one-month intensive Java programme covering core concepts and practical implementation
- Developed Java applications applying OOP principles across real-world scenarios
- Implemented JDBC–MySQL connectivity to perform secure CRUD operations
- Enhanced problem-solving skills through hands-on coding challenges and projects
- Core coursework: DSA, OOP, DBMS, Operating Systems, Computer Networks
- Attended workshops on Git, GitHub, Artificial Intelligence & modern dev tools
- Represented college at three national-level hackathons
